Study 15-07 is one of Vassiliev's Shimmering 21st Century Anonymous Portraits. These were shot with a hand-held film camera at a slow shutter speed using only available artificial light in anonymous man-made environments. Vassiliev then scans the film, and prints the image using the Lambda laser process on traditional photographic paper. The process results in intense colors and deep solid blacks on a smooth archival semi-gloss paper. More info here.
