Shelter from the storm

Shelter from the storm is a documentary and portrait series of the search of a young man who left the city to find a life of value, connection to mother earth, adventure, excitement and others to share with. The journey leads to Rainbow Gatherings, an Ashram in the desert and surreal places in between. The portraits reflect the photographers emotions of highs and lows, self love and doubt on this difficult path far off the mainstream ideas we grow up with in a capitalist western society. Finally, it is a search for a place that would let one rest with purpose and community.
