For the Tunisian woman that I am, the veil is an unfortunately renewed issue. In "The other", I represent my self wrapped in a hijab made of tulle to denounce the discourse that considers it as a way to preserve the female body from the male desire. I beleive the more the body is hidden the more it is imagined, fantasized and therefore desired. The veil is a decoy, rather than evading the body from the others, it reveals it as the tulle does.
