The distant forest

The Corona pandemic has disrupted ‘normal’ life. Places and activities that seemed for granted are off limits. I cannot travel home. I cannot meet my parents, my siblings, my friends. While coping with the current state of uncertainty, in my mind I walk through the forests back home to stay grounded. Everything seems far away, out of reach, fading. Still, my memories lead me like trails through the thick fog of Now.
