During lockdown, Meinsma hosted multiple studio sessions with the new generation of club kids: a group of expressive characters and queens of the night. In his photographs, he removes the context of the nightclub and solely focuses on the person in front of the camera. While zooming in on the unique beauty of the portrayed, the images are imbued with the heart of the underground and the spirit of the night.
