Black highlanders

"Black Highlanders" is a ongoing project showing the life of highlanders in the Beskid Mountains, where I live. Apart from the beautiful landscape in which they live, their lives in many cases have very dark side connected with murders, alcohol addiction, bad family relationships. I heard many of these stories from Józef Broda, a highlander, educator, musician and creator of folk instruments. It's hard to believe that a such dramatic, dark stories are born in those beautiful places. During those conversations, Józef often stoped and began to play on an ordinary leaf.
