People in transylvanian villages

Complementary to the series "Villages in Transylvania" this portrait series shows the inhabitants of these villages. Although the villages are quite small, you can meet quite a lot of people on the streets, especially in the late afternoon and evening. There are also many young people on the streets, probably because the street is the only place in the village where personal contact is possible. As far as the village is not crossed by a busy road, the quiet and wide village streets invite you to linger, you feel more like in a park. Whether you know each other or not, you greet each other and this makes it very easy to establish contact. All the people photographed here I met by chance on the streets. The vast majority were very open to my photography projects and were happy to be photographed.
