Secrets They Keep

I began this shoot as a book cover request, but it quickly evolved into more. I started thinking of all of my Mother's childhood stories. She has nine siblings and their money was tight. She loves talking about the dresses her Mother made. They were handed down from one to the next, and they cherished them. I love the images in this project. Each one represents a story from her childhood. The love and compassion they had for each other, and of course, the dresses!
