This image has several levels: the recourse to a painting from art history, the reuse of my own photograph and the construction of a new pictorial space in front of the camera. During the creation process of this image I worked with a system of deconstruction and recombination of collected visual material. This involved the production of a three-dimensional model and a sculptural arrangement that is then captured by the camera. All the visual elements in the image, whether different viewing angles or varied temporal and contextual layers, are actually present in my studio before the final act of photographic reproduction. The diversity of objects, perspectively organized, become united into a single layer on the photographic surface.
