Oaxaca

Like many other photographers, I'm compelled to return to places that have a strong pull on my imagination. No other place has had a stronger pull on me than the Mexican city of Oaxaca. Since my first visit Oaxaca has provided me with endless inspiration, and walking its streets has certainly encouraged me to look at the world in a formally complex way. In this city I fine tuned whatever abilities I have to appreciate light, framing, color and the impact of local culture on public space . For all these reasons, I look forward to returning to Oaxaca in the near future.
