Subway Portraits

These are mostly candid shots on the New York subway. Shooting on the subway is generally more intimate than the street but it is also more uncomfortable. I almost got attacked a year ago shooting a crack addict in an empty train car but the other side of the coin is that there are moments of beauty that I can't resist.
