Since I was a young kid I have always had an interest in art. For the most part I associated art with drawing and painting. I studied traditional animation at the Art Institute for that reason and for bring life to inanimate objects. Looking back I don't know why I did not take any photography classes. A few years ago I discovered the art of photography and began to see the world differently. As animator I was trying to create something from scratch, a mood a feeling or a moment, starting with a black canvas. With photography I feel that the canvas has already been drawn on or painted and I am just simply trying to capture the moment. That is what I try to do with my photography weather its at an event, a scenic place, or at home with friends and family. I am just trying to capture a moment, a feeling, or an expression that tells a story. I hope that the few images I have provided convey that.
